What we buy
Doré & semi-refined
Mine-origin doré with declared provenance. This is what we buy in — refined to 999.9 through accredited partners, it leaves us as cast or minted bar.
Overview
Doré & semi-refined
Doré is the semi-refined bar poured at or near the mine, typically 820 to 920 fine, with the balance made up of other metals. It is the form in which most primary production leaves origin, and it is where provenance either holds up or falls apart.
We buy only from sites with a current mining licence and export permit, and no lot moves until the chain-of-custody file is complete. Sellers are paid against assay on stated terms, and a second assay on arrival is written into every contract so a dispute is settled by measurement rather than by negotiation.
